Question: Being a devotee of Lord Krishna and vegan for animals i would like to know whether any form of cruelty is involved in making this chamara made from yak tail.. Please let me know.. Hare Krishna!

 Answer: It is not possible to be a devotee of Krishna and a vegan. Devotees of Krishna only accept Krishna prasadam and Krishna loves milk and milk products. So you can\'t be a vegan and a devotee.

Question: is it real Yak tail fan? or factory produced?

 Answer: These economy chamaras are usually synthetic, but they can sometimes be lower grade genuine yak tail.

Question: is this chamara synthetic or the real thing? looking for a proper traditional chamara/yak tail whisk

 Answer: Traditianal yak tail wisk is not available any more. It is prohibited export from India. So no one can supply any more. This chamara is the only thing available now. It may be synthetic or may be mixture of real chamara hair and synthetic. Actual real traditional chamara is not availbale anywhere at the current time.
