Frankincense, is a natural aromatic resin. It is blend of an essential oil and a resin produced by thorny trees of the genuis Boswellia. Generally devotees burn some charcoal and place the Frankincense resin on the charcoal and then it produces a wonderful fragrance that creates an auspicious atmosphere. In addition to its aromatic uses Frankincense also has many healing and medical properties and it is used in Auyrvedic, Asian and Traditional Chinese medicine.
