Prabhupada's Books ePub for iPad, tablets and eBook readers
The ePub format Prabhupada books enables you to comfortably read them anywhere on practically any eBook reader or other portable device.
ePub is the perfet format for the iPad, iPhone, Barnes and Noble Nook eBook readers and practically any other eBook reader or portable digital device that has an ePub app.
eThese ePub Prabhupada Books include the Sanskrit diacritical marks. This is achieved by embedding a font with the Sanskrit diacritical marks in the Prabhupada eBooks so even if the fonts in your device do not support the Sanskrit characters they will still be displayed correctly.
On the Nook you have to select "Publisher Defaults" to enable the embedded Sanskrit font but most other eBook readers will automatically detect and use the embedded Sanskrit font.

Some reading apps on Adroid do not use the correct fonts by default. Aldiko is one that has been reported to show the fonts correctly.

For first time iPad users, it would be helpful to mention that the files can't be downloaded directly on iPad via Safari browser. I exhausted 3 of my 5 permitted downloads doing it that way before finding the right method / guidance tucked away in the site's FAQ section.

At first I couldn't get the books to open on my nook even though they worked great on my pc. I had to download an app called calibre to convert them even though they are epub files. The app was free and they work perfectly now.

I am very thankful to Krishna store for making the epub format of Srila Prabhpada's wonderful explanations of the age old scriptures with their true spirit for every one's enlightenment and understanding, as to "what we are" and "what we sholud be doing" to attain the the true goal of this human form of life.
I use Adobe digital editions to read. It is free and wonderful on netbook.
In my openion it is waste of life, if anyone doesn't read the books of Srila Prabhupada, at least Bhagavad Gita As It Is.
I humbly wish to state my personal experience that just by having faith in Srila Prabhpada's teachings and following them, I got everything materially, and am advancing spiritually and leading my life very very peacefully.

I had requested a yr ago that Barnes-N-Nobles make Srila Prabhupada's books available in eformat, especially the Bhagavad Gita. 4 months ago they did make 5 of His Divine Grace's bks available, BUT BE WARNED all who own any Nook. U pay for them, they download, however, they are defective & it cannot be fixed. B&N tried everything & finally gave me my money back after many phone calls. I was skeptical when I downloaded from KS site. But with ebooks from Krishna Store there is a simple setting change u make & presto! All those precious books are perfectly readable & U can even see the pictures! U get so much more for your money, ur supporting a devotee run store, u get immediate replies if u have a question or difficulty & u can carry a small devotional library with u wherever u go! Great price for the whole Prabhupada's library. I like to read several books at the same time (depending on the mood I am in), having the whole library in my pocket is just awesome. Now I can read whatever I want wherever I want whenever I want. Although I would most definetely go for the paper books, just because the paper books carry a totally different kind of energy, you can feel it when you take a book in your hands and shuffle through the pages. Other than that, great purchase for the price. Unbelievable value. I would totally recomend it.
