Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda and Sita Rama - Bhaktivedanta Manor - Lechmore Heath, Unit
"Although My beauty defeats the beauty of ten million Cupids, although it is unequaled and unsurpassed, and although it gives great pleasure to the three worlds, seeing Radharani gives pleasure to My eyes." (Lord Krishna)
Sri Sri Radha-Gokulananda have enjoyed the pleasant setting of Bhaktivedanta Manor since Janmastami of 1973, when Srila Prabhupada named Them and exuberantly chanted and danced with his disciples around the altar. The beautiful countryside residence was found by Dhananjaya dasa and donated by George Harrison. It took its name from our spiritual master's title, Bhaktivedanta, "one who knows that loving devotional service to Krishna to be the end of knowledge." In 1981, Sri Sri Sita-Rama, Laksmana, and Hanuman were installed.
