Srila Prabhupada Selected Verse Sloka Book contains the verses and slokas Srila Prabhupada regularly quoted in his books, conversations and classes.

The Vedic scriptures translated by Srila Prabhupada contain many thousands of verses (slokas) and although any verse in his books is perfect, still there are those slokas that have been specifically chosen by the previous acaryas for the purpose of preaching Krishna consciousness.

Srila Prabhupada would often metion a verse and then ask the devotees if they knew it, or ask them to find it in one of his books, especially verses from his Bhagavad-gita As It Is. Srila Prabhupada expects his disciples to know the key verses / slokas and to be able to quote these slokas in their preaching.
