About this item
Because of being engaged in the service of the sages, Narada Muni became purified in heart, and at that time the very nature of the transcendentalist became attractive to him.
In that association and by the mercy of those great Vedantists, he heard them describe the attractive activities of Lord Krishna, and thus listening attentively, he found that his taste for hearing of the Personality of Godhead increased at every step.
As the flow of Narada Muni's devotional service began, the coverings of the modes of passion and ignorance vanished and his whole life became dedicated Lo the Lord.
At the time of death, fully absorbed in thinking of Krishna, with no attachments, and being completely freed from all material taints, he assumed his spiritual form as Narada Muni, as lightning and illumination occur simultaneously.
