I have found this book provides far more variety. As I am not a vegetarian or a member of the Hare Krishna Movement I liked this book better, as it was quite a bit like one of Yottam Ottolenghi's (sp?) books that my aunt was given (and which she loves, as she has a vegetarian daughter and neice). By that I mean that it feels like a book written by a vegetarian who understands meat eaters and who is able to produce "croud pleasing" vegetarian meals where the lack of meat is not something that is screamingly obvious. I recommend this book to anyone who needs to prepare something for a mixed vegitarian and non-vegetarian croud that does not wish to relegate the vegetarians to second place.Read less
