About this item
According to Vedic scriptures Ekadasi is the eleventh lunar day of every fortnight. Fasting and praying on this auspicious Ekadasi day leads to deliverance from sin. However, if one chooses to eat during this day, care must be taken to prepare the right dishes because certain foods are to be strictly avoided.

I have enjoyed making some of the dishes for Ekadasi and am looking forward to making more. Some recipes are very simple and that is very nice. I very much like dishes that are simple, easy to prepare and are very nicely tasting. The book also inspired me to try different types of flours for expanding my ekadasi dishes. I am always looking for more devotional cookbooks and this one is defiantly a great addition.Read less
