About this item
Srila Prabhupada vistited New Talavan in July 1975 and encouraged the devtoees to follow the principle of simple living and high thinking. In a beautiful rural setting, on hundreds of acres of fertile farmland, the devotees serve the Deities by offering Them seasonal flowers, fruits, vegetables, and grains. The cows supply fresh milk. The temple is named after the Talavan forest in Vrindavan, where Krishna and Balarama killed the Dhenuka demon.
