Then he left his body, burning in the fire of mystic power along with his thatched cottage, which turned to ashes, and being freed, he rose to the spiritual sky. While outside observing her husband burning in the fire of mystic power along with his thatched cottage, his chaste wife, Gandhari, entered the fire with rapt attention in order to join her husband in the spiritual sky.
