About this item
KuliFest was the highlight of the 2011 Australian Kulimela Festival. It was the public showcase for the talented youth of ISKCON from around the world. Hiring the local town hall, the famous gurukuli singer Haribhakti Dey, organised an event that would attract national television news coverage. Footage from this performance also appeared in a very favourable Australian documentary “Whatever happened to the Hare Krishna’s?” in 2013.
The KuliFest DVD is the professionally produced official 100-minute music video of that amazing night. Featuring an introduction by HH Mukunda Goswami and Sri Prahlad, the acts include Natya Shakti Dance group, Gauravani and the Mayapuris, the sensational Apsara Fashion show, raga style bhajan by Haribhakti Dey, rap & hiphop by Azitiz and Dovetales, Canada’s Ghost Brothers, and others, including a piece by Unkle Crazy before they became the famous Australian duo, Willow Beats.
Edited from up to 6 HD cameras, and using an audio mix from the sound desk, the quality is superior to any previous Kulimela production.
